The Spine

The spine is made up of 24 moveable vertebrae aligned on top of the tail bone. Each of these segments is designed to move relative to the vertebrae above and below. Sometimes, due to physical trauma (long-term or acute), chemical (poor diet or drugs) or emotional stress, the muscles and bones of the spine become imbalanced, thus affecting the movement of these segments and the mechanics of the whole spine.

This aberrant motion can lead to local inflammation, further fixation/restriction, degeneration and eventually pain. The Chiropractic Adjustment is a safe, specific, directed impulse, which restores proper motion to these segments and the whole spine. It  directly improves the function of your spine, meaning your body is better able to look after itself.
